Preventative Care
Preventative dentistry is our goal for every patient. It involves daily care, good nutrition, periodic examinations and cleanings that maintain good dental health. Fluoride treatments are used to strengthen tooth enamel and resist decay. Dental sealants are placed to provide a further layer of protection against cavities. Oral cancer screening can be done during regular 6-month cleaning check-ups. Preliminary orthodontic evaluation and proper referral.  top

Tooth Colored Fillings
White fillings, also called composite fillings, are made from tooth-colored materials that restore the natural appearance of a decayed or previously filled tooth. A composite filling usually requires only one visit, during which the tooth is prepared and restored. An advantage of composite fillings, as compared with other dental restorations, is that they require less of the healthy part of a tooth to be removed to hold the filling in place. This is due to composite materials' ability to bond to teeth adhesively. White fillings, like other dental materials, may require periodic replacement.  top

Lumineers are thin porcelain shields that are bonded to the front of your teeth to create dramatic changes in your smile. With Lumineers, you can correct tooth discoloration, noticeable gaps, permanent stains and broken or misshapen teeth. If you are interested in having a beautiful smile with lumineers, contact Dr. Purev for a consultation.  top

Direct Resin Bonding Restorations
Do you have a gap or misshaped, worn, crooked, or discolored teeth? The application of tooth colored filling material (composite) to teeth has been a dental technique for many years. Recent advances have increased the strength, durability and longevity of these restorations. Dr. Purev can use direct resin bonding restorations to make a beautiful smile only in one appointment.  top

Implant Restorations
A dental implant is placed into the jawbone and is designed to replace the root of missing tooth. After 4-6 months, dental implants fuse with the jawbone to form a secure foundation for tooth replacement. Implants can replace one or several missing teeth. Also, dentures or a bridge can be attached to dental implants.  top

Porcelain Crowns
Because all-ceramic restorations contain no metal understructure, they are able to transmit the color of adjacent teeth and tooth structure. Not only have these restorations become stronger, but they also help us give you a natural, more beautiful looking smile. If you would like to learn more about porcelain crowns, contact our office today!  top

If you are missing teeth, a conservative fiber reinforced bridge may be used to replace them. This proven composite fiber technology is completely biocompatible and metal-free. Other choice of high quality materials such as metal, porcelain or a fused combination of the two can be used. Ask Dr. Purev for more information.  top

Complete dentures are used to replace missing teeth for people with no remaining teeth. Dentures may also be used for people who have lost several teeth. In this case, the appliance is called a partial denture or an overdenture.  top

Endodontics (Root Canal)
Endodontic treatment, commonly called "root canal treatment", is a common dental procedure that removes damaged tissue from inside the root canals of a tooth, thereby significantly lengthening the life of the tooth. If you would like to have a pain-free root canal treatment, call Dr. Purev today!  top

Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth using a series of custom-made, nearly undetectable aligners. So whether your teeth are crowded, too far apart or have shifted since wearing braces, you'll have a new reason to smile. Invisalign only works while you wear the aligners. It's recommended that you wear your aligners full-time, day and night, except to eat, brush and floss your teeth. Call our office for a free consultation!  top

Gum Disease Treatment
Periodontal disease is painless and therefore, many people do not even know that they have it. However, warning signs of periodontal disease may include red, swollen, or bleeding gums; persistent bad breath; permanent teeth that are loose or separating; or changes in the way your teeth fit together when you bite. During each routine checkup, your dentist and hygienist will examine you for periodontal disease. Treatment will depend on the type of periodontal disease and how far the condition has progressed.  top

Digital X-Ray
Digital Radiography provides the benefit of using up to 80% less radiation than traditional X-Ray.  top

Laser Caries Detection Aid is an extremely accurate aid to detect caries. It uses a laser to scan teeth for cavities hiding under the tooth's surface. DIAGNOdent helps the dentist "see" hidden cavities and treat them before they spread and enlarge.  top
