Meet the Dr. Solongo Purev D.M.D.

"My purpose as a dentist is to help you keep
your teeth and gums healthy for a lifetime..."

Dr. Solongo Purev D.M.D.Hello and welcome to my Web site! I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

I was born and raised in Mongolia, where I graduated from the Medical University in 1990. After several years of practicing dentistry in Mongolia, I moved to the United States in 1996. Determined to continue my profession, I went to the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and received my degree as Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D) in 2002. Upon my graduation, I was selected to participate in an additional year of extensive training in the General Practice Residency Program at the University of Minnesota Hospital Dental Clinic. In 2004 I decided to start my private practice with an office in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and have been very happy with my decision. I also devote two days a week as a general dentist in the Boynton Dental Clinic at the University of Minnesota. As part of my continuing education, I recently completed Level I and Level II Post Graduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry and Invisalign Certification, working toward becoming accredited in Cosmetic Dentistry.

In my free time, I enjoy Latin dancing, cooking, sewing and relaxing. I have a 20-year-old daughter, who wants to pursue a career in dentistry. I speak English, Russian and Mongolian fluently and work daily to improve my Spanish. I feel fortunate to live my dream and strongly believe in sharing with others by volunteering at the Good Samaritan Dental Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and by offering my services in a Dental Mission Trip in Dominican Republic. Every year, since 2005, I host "Give Kids a Smile" event by providing free dental care for kids 2-18 years of age. To me nothing is more rewarding than seeing your patients happy and giving them smile to shine their faces.

It would be my pleasure to be involved in your care. Please call our office for an appointment.
